Geoff is our Borough Councillor for Downs North.  

Geoff Joined the Ecology Party before it changed its name to the Green Party, and has stood as a candidate many times since. In 2010 he stood for Parliament in Canterbury in support of Caroline Lucas's successful campaign in Brighton.
He was employed as the Principal Lecturer in Geography at Canterbury Christ Church University, where he also ran a research unit that concentrated on the use of computer mapping to help manage world fish stocks. He is now continuing this research work on a part time basis for the United Nations. 
Geoff’s main interests are in transport, land-use policy, conservation and water supply problems. He also takes a very active interest in Climate Change and local planning issues.

He has lived in Old Wives Lees for many years and is an active member of the local Community, and is a Chilham Parish Councillor.  .
