Alex is one of our Weald Central Representatives.  He has always felt deeply about how our environment is mistreated, ever since reacting to the appalling litter in his school grounds in the 1970s  This concern blossomed into an active involvement in Croydon Friends of the Earth and later the Green Party.

Alex worked as a structural engineer and later trained for the Anglican ministry. He served as a priest in London, Whitstable and most recently Biddenden and Smarden, near Tenterden.

After retiring from full-time ministry Alex moved to Great Chart, Ashford, in 2022. He runs an experimental congregation called Walk Church and is looking forward to being even more involved in the local community and local politics so he can make even more of a difference.
