Cllr Guy Pullen
Rolvenden and Tenterden
ABC Councillor
Cabinet Member for Parks & Recreation
Contact
Guy is the proud father of two and grew up in Benenden and Hawkhurst. He works locally as a gardener. As the son of a shepherd, Guy has a deep respect for the land and a lifelong passion for nature and the environment. Steeped in the landscape and traditions of the Weald, he brings care and understanding to the beautiful countryside we all call home.
Green Values, Lifelong Commitment
Guy first joined the Green Party over twenty years ago after recognising that climate change demanded bold political leadership. His determination never wavered. Today, as a Borough Councillor and Portfolio Holder for Parks and Recreation at Ashford Borough Council, he is proud to help shape Ashford’s future.
Making a Difference Every Day
For Guy, local politics is about people. Whether helping a resident solve a problem or supporting ambitious council policies that improve everyday life, he sees every conversation as an opportunity to make a positive difference. Being able to brighten someone’s day is one of the greatest privileges of serving as a councillor.

Protecting the Places We Love
Guy’s passion for nature began as a child when he first learned about the greenhouse effect. Decades later, he is still just as determined to save the planet. He loves the countryside around Tenterden and Rolvenden, regularly enjoys walking local footpaths, and helps care for the wildflower meadows and woodland at Biddenden Millennium Field. Protecting these landscapes for future generations continues to inspire his work.

Looking Forward
Guy hopes to see renewable energy continue its rapid growth while fossil fuels become a thing of the past.
He believes positive, progressive politics only succeeds when people choose to get involved, no matter how small their first step may seem. Every contribution matters, and together those small actions create lasting change.
