Steve is Ashford Central Representative.  He grew up in the seaside town of Whitstable and has been visiting and working in Ashford since the age of 16.  He moved here permanently back in 2016.

 

In 2018 Steve started “The Made Inn” Ashford’s dedicated independent craft pub, followed by the TMI Bottle Shop at The Coachworks in 2022. Steve has a distinct desire for a better greener town centre for both residents and businesses alike. Steve has built his businesses on a community focus, his belief that people make places drags over into his political beliefs as well. Putting people first, and serving the community is at the centre of what Steve does best.

Steve is a great believer of weaving green principles into existing policy, he also has a love for following new green technologies in the fight against the global climate crisis (even right down to plastic free crisp packets in his pub).
